What happens in spiritual direction?

You bring whatever is present—an experience, question, decision, absence, or simply the life you are living. Together, director and directee listen for what may be stirring beneath the surface and where God may already be present.

Nothing must be prepared in advance. Silence is welcome. The conversation unfolds at the pace of the person seeking direction.
